September 10, 2024, Press Release from the City of Lima: Mayor Sharetta Smith and representatives from the Lima Fire Department and Lima Police Department will appear at the Lima Public Library’s Family Friday Story Time on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM.
The program engages preschool and early grade school children with fun stories, songs, and more. This particular day will focus on community helpers, with each city representative sharing information about what they do for the community. Safety service vehicles will also be on-site for the children to explore.
The event is free and open to the public. The Lima Public Library is located at 650 W. Market St.
