There were four people in California, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming who won $1,000,000 for getting every number except the Mega Ball right.
The Mega Millions numbers drawn on Christmas Eve are 11-14-38-45-46, and the Mega Ball is 3. Friday is the next drawing, and if someone wins that one, it will be the 5th largest jackpot in Mega Millions history. There were four people in California, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming who won $1,000,000 for getting every number except the Mega Ball right. There have been 30 drawings since the last jackpot was won in September, and that was $810 million. There have only been three jackpots won so far in 2024, which is the fewest wins in a single year since the multistate lottery began in 2002. There are only two more drawings this year, and the odds of winning are 1 in 302 million.
