The Hancock County grand jury returns more indictments in the investigation of the murder of Vera Jo Reigle.
17 year old Nicole Peters will be facing additional charges besides aggravated murder for her alleged involvement in the death of Reigle.
The grand jury has indicted her on two counts of kidnapping, both first degree felonies, which she could face up to 10 years in prison for each of the those charges, and one count of tampering with evidence, a third degree felony.
According to the indictment, Peters took and hid the knife which was used in Reigle's murder.
The Hancock County Juvenile Court has already transferred Peters case to the common pleas court where she will be tried as an adult.
The grand jury also returned indictments against members of the Brooks family with whom Reigle had been living with. Cheri, Shannon, Michael and Zachary Brooks have all been charged with obstructing justice a third degree felony.
According to the indictment all four hindered the police during investigation of the death of Reigle.
Zachary Brooks has an additional charge of obstructing justice because, according to the indictment, he intimidated a person who had information about the night Reigle was killed.
Zachary brooks is the father of Reigle's daughter, Willadeana
The four have not been arraigned on their charges.
