NED's Mindset Mission made a stop at St. Charles in Lima this morning(11/5/19) to promote a positive outlook in all aspects of life.
Students from kindergarten to 5th grade gathered in the gym to listen to the Mindset Mission and how it helps students understand the concept of "brain freeze", and not the ice cream kind. It encouraged the students to use their "go brains", which is the idea that you can do anything if you try. The talk focused on the deeper meaning of NED's name.
"For this one, it's right in the name, N.E.D.; never give up, encourage others and do your best. And if we all never gave up, encouraged others and did our best, I think we'd find ourselves in a great spot,” shares the performer from today’s talk, Douglas Fries.
Ned's Mindset Mission is an international program that helps students to change their mindsets and overcome challenges, whether it be social, emotional, or academic. More information on this program can be found on mindsetmission.com.
