Ohio ranks 3rd for speeding tickets according to Insurify

According to the insurance shopping website Insurify, Ohio is the 3rd highest state for drivers getting speeding tickets.

Ohio ranks 3rd for speeding tickets according to Insurify

Insurify says average insurance rates in Ohio jump from $150 a month to $222 with a speeding ticket on your record. 

According to the insurance shopping website Insurify, Ohio is the 3rd highest state for drivers getting speeding tickets, behind North Dakota and Wisconsin. Their study says that 7.8% of Ohio drivers have a speeding ticket on their record, which is above the national average of 4.1%. 

Ohio had over 27,000 speed-related crashes last year, with nearly 340 people killed and 1,300 others seriously injured. Insurify says average insurance rates in Ohio jump from $150 a month to $222 with a speeding ticket on your record.
