The candidates vying to take over Senator Portman's seat will be facing off in two separate debates on Monday.
The Ohio Debate Commission is putting on series of debates this week for the contested senate and Governor’s races. The Democratic Senate candidates, Morgan Harper, TJ Johnson and Tim Ryan will be taking part in a debate Monday at 11:30 am at Central State University.
The Republican Candidates, Matt Dolan, Mike Gibbons, Josh Mandel, Neil Patel, Mark Pukita, Jane Timken, and JD Vance will be taking the stage at Central State for a debate at 7pm. Both debates can be seen live on https://www.facebook.com/hometownstations/.
At 7pm on Tuesday the Democratic Governor’s candidates, Nan Whaley and John Cranley will be debating, which also can be seen on our Facebook page. The Republican Governor’s debate was cancelled after Governor Mike DeWine declined to take part and Jim Renacci dropped out after DeWine's decision.
