While the races for judges don't get the attention as other races on the statewide ballot, like U.S. Senate or governor, Justice Kennedy says it is just as important, especially when you want Ohio's highest court to uphold the laws on the books. Kennedy, DeWine, and Fischer will be facing off against Jennifer Brunner, Marilyn Zayas, and Terri Jamison respectively in the November 2022 general election.

Democratic Candidate for Ohio’s 4th District Congressional Seat Tamie Wilson has been across the district talking to voters about her reasons for running for the office against Congressman Jim Jordan.   Wilson thinks it is important to have a representative that is for the people and get things done for all the people in the district.  As a business and life coach, Wilson sees the challenges that people are facing both personally and professionally, and if elected she has some issues she would like to tackle.

Exactly two weeks before the election, the Allen County Republicans turning out to throw their support behind their candidates. Including one of the evening’s featured speakers U.S. Senate Candidate JD Vance.  Vance was making stops around the state with republican U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. The pair talking about various issues like the southern border and inflation. Vance and his democratic challenger Tim Ryan will be going head-to-head in a Fox News Townhall on November 1st.  The candidates faced off in two debates in eastern Ohio at the beginning of the month and Vance welcomed the opportunity to share the stage with the long time Washington congressman.

Congressman Tim Ryan makes a second campaign stop in Lima this week to talk to supporters two weeks from the election.   This time the Democratic candidate for Ohio’s U.S. Senate seat talked to local union members and Democrats about his plan to reinvest and create opportunities for communities.  During the Lima Workers First Rally, Ryan laid out what he thinks are the big issues in this election.   One being abortion, and another being manufacturing and jobs.   He believes it is up to the voters to rise to the occasion on what happens on these and other issues.

Tim Ryan made a stop in Lima as part of his bus tour across Ohio less than a month away from the general election. Ryan pointed to recent survey numbers that show him ahead of his Republican challenger J.D. Vance and says that he will make sure that working class families' voices are heard in the Senate, with him already hearing what's on the minds of voters: inflation costs and worker rights.

After turning down offers from the Ohio Debate Commission, Republican Senate candidate J.D. Vance has agreed to two debates with Democratic congressman Tim Ryan being put on by television stations in Cleveland and Youngstown. Those will happen on October 10 and 17 respectively. The third offer for southwestern Ohio has not been confirmed.

The "Not So Strong Ohio" tour by Ohio Democrats made a stop in downtown Lima Tuesday morning. The candidates for secretary of state and state auditor were on hand. They say the corruption and special interests are costing the residents of Ohio. Governor DeWine's weakness is hurting working families and he is failing to provide the leadership expected from a governor. They say the Democratic ticket on the ballot this fall is the change that Ohio needs.
