Ottawa Glandorf School Board held their final board meeting under Superintendent Kevin Brinkman. Brinkman is retiring after 23 years in the school district. He started his career as principal of Glandorf Elementary. Eventually, he switched into the Director of Business role before taking on the Superintendent position. Brinkman was able to make several accomplishments during his 10 years as the superintendent.
Brinkman has taken on a less stressful job with Neola a school policy company. The Associates position will allow him to remain actively involved with schools in the area by updating their policies as laws change. Don Horstman will be taking over as the new Superintendent on August first.
