Play of the Week 01/04/26: Shawnee's Trevick Bertke sets the tone early with a dunk versus Coldwater

COLDWATER, Ohio — (WLIO) Shawnee junior Trevick Bertke provided the highlight of the night and earned K&M Contracting Play of the Week honors in the Indians’ non-conference matchup against Coldwater.
Early in the first quarter, Shawnee moved the ball crisply around the perimeter before Bertke cut to the basket and finished with a powerful two-handed dunk, setting the tone for the rest of the game.
The 6'7" junior finished with a game-high 16 points, as the Indians secured a 58–42 victory, marking their seventh win of the season.
Bertke’s early slam earned him second K&M Contracting Play of the Week of the 2025-26 high school boys basketball season.
