LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A two-alarm fire damaged a home in Lima Sunday morning.
Lima firefighters were called to 2-60 Idlewild Drive at 9:13 a.m. after reports of smoke coming from the residence. When crews arrived, smoke was seen coming from the eaves of the roof. Everyone inside the home had safely exited before firefighters arrived.
Fire crews found the fire in the attic, which led to smoke and water damage throughout the living areas of the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The American Red Cross was called to assist the residents displaced by the fire.
