The Allen County Fair is bringing two chart-topping acts to the main stage in 2016. Rascal Flatts will headline for the closing night of the fair, with an opening act from up and coming artist Kelsea Ballerini. The trio has recorded more than 15 number one singles, and two of the three members of Rascal Flatts are from Columbus, Ohio. Ticket prices for the August 27th concert start at $45 for grandstand and bleachers, $55 for track seating, and $65 for the pit in front of the stage.
Fair officials have high hopes for next year's concert after last year's sold out performance from Lady Antebellum and Sam Hunt. "When you bring an act like Rascal Flatts, and Kelsea Ballerini is on a breakout right now, she's a new face with country music, but where she'll be by the time the fair gets here, we just thought it was great timing to have her combined with Rascal Flatts, two great acts," said Bob Fricke, the fair's general manager, "It's just going to be something for country music fans, and they've got that little bit of a soft rock mix too, so something for everybody, it's just gonig to be a great concert."
