A portion of the Market and Main Street intersection will be closed starting Monday. The Lima City engineer says that the Eastern side of the intersection will be closed to thru traffic starting Monday, June 27th and will remain closed for five days. Construction work will be started during that time for the center island of the modern single-lane roundabout. Traffic in the 100 block of South Main St. should re-route using Spring St. while traffic in the 100 block of East Market St. should re-route using Union St. Traffic heading southbound on Main St. and Eastbound on Market Street will be required to turn right.
