The Regional Transit Authority is giving back to their riders.
They are collecting hats, gloves, socks, and other items to distribute to those they serve on their routes. The Deck the Tree collection started several years ago as drivers kept hearing riders talk about items they do without. A certain relationship forms between drivers and riders as the see each other on a regular basis and associates of the RTA wanted to give back to the community they serve. They will accept donations up to Christmas Eve when drivers will pass them out to people on their routes.
