The creative process of cartoons draws a crowd to the Allen County Museum. Â
David Adams has been creating cartoons for Allen County for more than 40 years, and he explained his passion for drawing to the public on Sunday.  Audience members got a chance to learn how single-panel cartoons are made, along with looking at some of Adams' work.  Â
Adams is glad to be able to give his gift of drawing back to the community.
"This compulsion that I have to cartoon, to draw cartoons, which has been with me virtually my whole life, is something like a gift, a talent, a passion for it.  As local organizations and non-profits have incorporated into their programs my cartoons, fundraising and otherwise, it's nice to be able to give that gift back," said Adams, who is a Associate Professor of Sociology Emeritus at OSU Lima.
Adams donated more than 100 cartoon-illustrated T-shirts to the museum.
