May 22, 2024, Press Release from Spencerville Local Schools: The Spencerville Local Schools Board of Education recently recognized Charles River Laboratories for the firm’s strong support of the district’s schools.
The company was honored at the May 21st Board of Education meeting as part of the Ohio School Board Association’s (OSBA) 2024 Business Honor Roll program. The program gives school districts a way to say, “thank you” to local businesses and recognizes them for their valuable contributions to schools.
“Charles River Labs is a strong supporter of Spencerville Local Schools,” said Nate Pohlman, Spencerville Board of Education President. “Some examples of their contributions include STEM funding, the donation of school supplies, sponsoring of the Back-to-School Fair, instructional support, and more.”
“Spencerville Schools and its students, board members, administration, and staff would like to express their sincere appreciation for all that they do for the children of our community," said Brian Woods, superintendent.
