Valentine's Day, a day full of love and surprises.
The Lima Beane Chorus, once again, out and about, delivering singing valentines to unexpecting sweethearts. Your News Now caught up to the quartet at Lost Creek Care Center where one employee was unaware what her husband had arranged for her today.
"Well I was very surprised, it was a very sweet, sweet thing to do, I did not see it coming so kudos to him for the big surprise, happy Valentine's Day," said Kim Stolly, who received a Singing Valentine from her husband.
The Lima Beane Barbershop Chorus was chartered in August of 1948 and have been singing harmony ever since. The Singing Valentines is a fundraiser for the group and they say every person reacts a little differently when they pay someone a visit.
"It's different at every venue, some others definitely tears, some surprised because they don't know anything about it, some are shocked and don't know how to react," said Terry Reichenbach, Lima Beane Chorus.
The quartet will be out delivering more singing valentines tomorrow.
