Tri-State Gun Show

More than 400 vendors brought out thousands of gun enthusiasts over the weekend. One vendor made the six hour trip from Iowa, and has done so for the past few decades. Lima's gun show is Butch's second favorite gun show, but its not because of all of the nice residents. "The reason I come is the money," said Butch. "I don't even like people in Ohio, but I like their money."

Dan Fray is the owner of American Pawn, and says while business is doing well back at the shop, the gun show is something he can always count on to bring in some extra money.

Gun sales spiked after the re-election of President Obama, but Terry Morgan, President of the Tri-State Gun Collectors, believes it also has to do with a change in the mindset of people. He believes more people are hunting, shooting and carrying than ever before.

Money raised at the event will be used for events for Tri-State club members, given to various churches and given to area shooting clubs to keep the interest in guns alive.

Lima's Tri-State Gun Show takes place the first weekend of each month, with the next gun show scheduled for January 5th and 6th.
