SENTENCING
Eugene Munsen, Jr., 40, Van Wert, Tampering with Evidence, F3 and Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5 – sentenced to 3 years Community Control, 30 days jail at a later date, no alcohol or drugs without a prescription, random screens, mental health and substance abuse assessment and treatment, ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees, monthly probation fees and court costs.
Tyler Paxson, 28, Van Wert, Felonious Assault, F2 – sentenced to 8 to 12 years prison with credit for 154 days already served; and Trespass in a Habitation when a Person is Present or Likely to be Present, F4 – sentenced to 18 months prison with credit for 154 days already served. Sentences to be served concurrently and ordered to pay court costs.
CHANGE OF PLEA
Joseph Black, 58, Watertown, changed his plea to Guilty of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3. He then requested, and was granted, Intervention in Lieu of Conviction, and his case was stayed pending completion of the treatment program.
