Their mission is to increase the awareness and the importance of safety, health, and wellness to area businesses.
The West Central Ohio Safety Council is returning to in-person meetings. By participating in the safety council companies can earn workers' compensation premium rebates through safety education. The council can also help with identifying resources to assist in accident prevention efforts and learning ways to increase safety, health, and wellness in the workplace. They are asking if you are interested in participating to contact them.
West Central Ohio Safety Council Manager Deb Katzenmeyer says, “In order to participate in the fiscal year 2023 Safety Council Program, we need the current members to reach out to us and let us know their planning on still attending. And then we are also encouraging new members at this time, and we’ll have a membership drive mailing that is also going out to them.”
The council meets on the second Tuesday of the month with the first back in-person meeting on July 12th at the Lima Howard Johnson’s ballroom starting at 7:30 am.
