Every year a new exhibit opens at the Allen County Fair that highlights endangered animals.
These wild animals are part of the Wolves of the World show. Sharon Sandlofer hopes people come away understanding that all of our wildlife is important and we need to think about them. She says we share the Planet Earth with the animals and we need to take care of them.
"Definitely a wild animal, they are the ancestor to all of our dogs, but they're not the big bad wolf that they're portrayed as being. They're very close to nature and actually we could learn a lot from them if we studied them a little bit. They have a lot of good values within their pack," commented Sandlofer.
Sandlofer calls the wolves a very important part of our ecosystem and that we need to teach the public about them so that people will try to help them.
