Lauer Farms was the setting for a glimpse into the life of the "Greatest Generation." More than 500 students from area schools took part in the "School Days" field trip, learning from reenactors about what life was like back in 1944, both in the war zone and back here at home. The students navigated three camps: Allied, Axis, and home-front, chatting with local historians. The event was capped off by a battlefield reenactment.

The Bath Drama Club is getting ready to present their first-ever play that opens Saturday night! Drama club students at Bath High School hosted a dress rehearsal Friday evening for their families performing "The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet." The play utilizes a comedic approach to the William Shakespeare's classic "Romeo and Juliet" through an integration of the whimsical literary styles by Dr. Seuss where the story of the Shakespearian characters are conveyed through funny jokes. Even though the play is a fun-filled journey of the retelling of Romeo and Juliet's romance, the theater setting helped teach students involved critical life skills.

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Ohio State Lima and other members of the community are bringing a classic story to the stage. 

Friday Night was the grand finale of the Made For The Stage Youth Theatre Workshop here in Lima! 18 kids performed excerpts, play readings, and student-directed open scenes in front of a live audience following a free two-week workshop revolving around the art of theatre.

Kids are getting a chance to improve their acting skills at the Lima Public Library. Students in fourth grade and up took part in Mini Drama Camp, learning how to build characters, boost public speaking skills, and deal with nerves of performing. The camp is run by instructor Joanna Walt, of Creative Dramatics. She wants students to not only have fun but also improve the kids' self-confidence.
