A 31-year-old Lima man was sentenced to 26 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple child pornography-related charges in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

Christopher Duran, 50, is scheduled to stand trial Oct. 26 for 95 sex-related charges.

A Lima man was sentenced for a shooting outside a Lima bar last year.

An Allen County jury has been seated in the trial for Ernesto Palos, who is facing multiple charges for allegedly having sexual contact with a minor.  

A Lima woman has pleaded guilty in a government benefits fraud case.

Kurtz will serve five to seven-and-a-half years in prison for an October shooting.

Allen County Job and Family Services officials say eight fraud cases have been sent to court since the end of 2024 involving false information used to obtain public assistance benefits.
The cases resulted in more than $160,000 in overpayments, and officials say more investigations are ongoing.

Emerson Jeffrey, 35, appeared Thursday in Allen County Common Pleas Court for a suppression hearing ahead of his April jury trial.

Another suspect in a Lima drug bust earlier this month has been bound over to Allen County Common Pleas Court.

A Lima man pleaded guilty to felonious assault charges Tuesday for a 2022 stabbing that left a woman injured and led to his arrest in Florida nearly three years later.
