LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The trial has begun for a Lima man who allegedly had sexual contact with a young child.
An Allen County jury has been seated in the trial for Ernesto Palos, 71, who is facing six counts of rape, 5 counts of gross sexual imposition, and one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material.
According to the indictment, the victim was under 13-years-old and the charges stem from incidents that allegedly happened between February and March of 2025. The trial is expected to last a few days.
