TOLEDO (WLIO) - Wapakoneta's 28-game regular-season winning streak came to an end Friday night, as the Redskins fell to Clay 27-21 in their season opener.

Wapakoneta struck first when Daron Houser handed the ball to Channing Miller, who powered into the end zone for the Redskins' first touchdown.

Down 14-6 in the second quarter, Houser connected with Blake Rogers, who broke free from a defender for another Wapakoneta touchdown.

The Redskins, who went 11-1 last season, couldn't complete the comeback as Clay held on for the 27-21 win.
