The Lima Fire Department responding to an apartment fire Tuesday afternoon.
Crews were on the scene of an apartment building fire on Sunday evening. Lima Fire and EMS was dispatched just before 8 PM for a fire that started in an apartment on North Elizabeth Street.
The Delphos Fire Department responded to a call about a fire on the 200 block of west third just after 8pm tonight. A passerby noticed the flames coming from the building and helped the two occupants escape the fire.
A single apartment fire causes thousands of dollars of damage on Tuesday afternoon. The Lima Fire Department got the call around 3:30 p.m. for a fire at 2951 Elijah Parkway. The fire started in the kitchen either on or around the stove. The person living in the apartment left around half an hour before and returned after the fire broke out. The fire did not spread to any other apartments in the building. Everyone that was inside the apartment building at the time were able to get out safely. Damages to the building are thought to be around $25,000.
The Lima Fire Department tackled an early morning fire just after 6 am. Trucks were called to 260 S. Pine St. for an attic fire in the upper apartment of a multi-unit building.
The Bath Township Fire Department responded to an apartment fire on Saturday evening.
According to the fire department, units were called out to 400 south Mumuagh Road just before 6 p.m. on Saturday evening.
