The grant is open to any 501(c)(3) organization located in Allen County or one of its adjacent counties. To qualify, the proposed project must be completed within 12 months of receiving the funds. Applications will be accepted through June 30.
The 11-week camp runs from June through August, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each week features a unique theme with games, crafts, and activities related to it. Participants also receive daily gym and pool time, and lunches are provided through the Lima City Schools Summer Lunch Program. The camp is open to children ages 6 to 12.
The Hancock Chamber of Commerce has applications available for their 2026 Youth Leadership Class.

October 15, 2024, Press Release from the Allen County Court of Common Pleas, Probate & Juvenile Divisions: The Allen County Court of Common Pleas, Probate Division, is excited to announce the launch of its new electronic marriage application, now available on the court’s website. This innovative service aims to streamline the marriage application process, providing couples with a user-friendly and efficient way to remotely apply for a marriage license.
They have locations around the county to provide free, comprehensive programming for children and their families and are currently taking applications. Allen County Head Start and Early Head Start are programs under the West Ohio Community Action Partnership that work with children from birth to 5 years of age to get them ready for school. The program is for low-income families to provide social, emotional, and intellectual growth to their children. They not only work in the classroom but also offer home visits to provide support in parenting skills.
The Allen County RTA is reaching out to the community to fill several open positions.
Legacy Arts Inc. has announced they are now accepting applications for their first financial scholarships. They are intended to support individuals or groups that want to use creative arts and or entrepreneurship to serve the Greater Lima Community.
To make sure everyone has a happy holiday, the Lima Salvation Army is offering one more chance for families to get signed up for their Christmas Assistance Program. They will be accepting applications on November 15th between 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 5 p.m.
