A Lima man accused of forcing his way into a home in 2022 and assaulting its residents was arraigned Monday. 32-year-old Leroy "Knowledge" Page pleaded not guilty to 8 total felony charges on counts of felonious assault, kidnapping, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, having weapons under disability, and failure to comply. Page was captured by the FBI in Las Vegas on July 1.

As part of the plea agreement, Pete Fingerhut will pay $675,572.65 in restitution. The amount includes money to be paid to the zoo, along with back taxes to the state of Ohio and Internal Revenue Service.

A man accused of a March rape and murder, pleads not guilty during his arraignment.
46-year-old Antrea Hardy had a video arraignment Friday afternoon in Lima Municipal Court. Hardy was charged with felonious assault for a shooting that happened Monday morning at the Imperial Inn on North Street in Lima. The victim, 40-year-old Cory Adkins, had a single gunshot wound and was listed as critical but stable condition after the shooting.
The Lima Police Department believes that Austin was responsible for the death of 22-year-old Koby Bryant on December 29th. Bryant's body was found with gunshot wounds in the yard of a home on 4th Street. Bryant was the fourth homicide of 2022 for Lima. Austin has a preliminary hearing set for next Tuesday.
A Lima man is facing a felonious assault charge after an incident at a Dollar General. On July 9th, Lima Police responded to a call at 310 North Jameson Street at the Dollar General for an argument that had turned violent.
Romiere Hale was arrested back on April 13th of this year, after four-year-old Ma'Laya Dewitt was found unresponsive in her home located on North Elizabeth Street, she was pronounced deceased at an area hospital shortly after. Hale was indicted on eight counts of endangering children, one count of involuntary manslaughter, and one count of murder. Hale entered a plea of not guilty to all counts.
Rae'Quaun Thomas, 19-years-old of Lima, Ohio, was indicted by the Van Wert County Grand jury on one count of Attempted Murder and one count of Felonious Assault. Both counts have a firearm specification attachment. According to the indictment, Thomas attempted to purposely cause the death of Noah Alan Dickman, and had a firearm on or about his person on October 24th, 2020.
