A Lima man who pleaded guilty to rape is heading to prison. Buck Asmann was sentenced in Allen County Common Pleas Court to a minimum of seven years in prison. New state laws mean it's an indefinite sentence and he could serve up to ten and a half years behind bars. The prosecutor says Asmann was on a date and the victim asked for a ride home. However, Asmann convinced her to spend the night at his house, promising to take her home in the morning. Asmann previously took a deal that had another count of rape and a case involving tampering with evidence dropped.
