Both Desantis and Ramaswamy dropped out of the presidential race early to support Trump, and Cheney says it's fortunate that we could get all three of them to attend.

The committee says it will hold the roll call before their August 19th convention to meet Ohio's August 7th deadline to get Biden on the ballot. Last Thursday, Governor Mike DeWine ordered the General Assembly to reconvene today to pass legislation to extend the deadline until after the Democratic convention. State lawmakers have done this in the past for both Republican and Democratic nominees.
