LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Lima residents gather with their peers to watch tonight's Presidential Debate.
Both the Democratic and Republican parties held watch parties to watch the debate between former President and Republican elect Donald Trump and Democratic elect Kamala Harris.

Executive Chairman of the Republican Party, Keith Cheney, stated, "I mean, it's very simple. His policies work. Everybody is paying more at the gasoline pump. They're paying more at the groceries. Their energy bills, their electric, and gas bills have all risen. I mean, tonight, what we are looking forward is Donald Trump being able to remind this nation, Here is what we did when we were in office, and here is where America lives today, and it's not very good."

"She has to hit out of the ballpark tonight, because there are some that are undecided and they will watch the debate. If they don't watch the full thing, they will watch some clips. So, they have to see that she is knowledgeable, that she is strong, that she can speak her mind, and that she will not let anyone shut her up or turn her around," added Rochelle Twining, Chairwoman of the Democratic Party.
With no current word on whether or not there would be a second debate between the two presidential candidates, tonight's debate could serve as it's last before the upcoming election.
