Allen County Children Services is asking for continued support for a levy they say will support their mission of protecting kids.

The Lima Exchange Club is continuing its mission to support and protect children in Lima and Allen County.
“We're very supportive of the Allen County Children's Services Board and the assistance that they provide not only to the children, but to the families that are in need,” Kohlrieser said. “We're hoping to help combat any issues of neglect or dependency, to help these families that are in crisis, to show a little support and hopefully benefit them in some way.”
A local agency invited the whole community to paint the town blue on Wednesday to stand up against child abuse.
Child Advocacy Center of West Central Ohio (CAC), a program of Crime Victim Services, encourages all individuals and organizations to support prevention efforts of child abuse and neglect in Allen County throughout the year and especially during April, which is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Allen County Public Health received a donation to help reduce infant mortality.
People across the nation are breaking out their blue to support Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month.
