The Children’s Developmental Center of Lima celebrated its 67th annual Christmas party this evening.
Linda Balogh, assistant to the directors of Royal Family Kids Camp, said the contribution will help them continue offering meaningful experiences to vulnerable children. “Royal Family Kids is a camp that we do for neglected and abused children and ages seven to 11, and we just give them positive memories by showing them good role models having fun and creating positive memories.”
The Lima Memorial Auxiliary’s annual supply drive is helping the Children’s Developmental Center start the school year with much-needed snacks, supplies and support for its 22 students.
The Lima Elks Lodge #54 presented a $10,000 check to the Children’s Developmental Center located inside of Lima Memorial Health System. The Children’s Developmental Center serves special needs children providing developmental pre-school services, transition services, toddler classes, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
It’s been bringing smiles to local kids for over six decades and they continue that tradition tonight(12/12/19). The Husky Refinery, RMF Nooter, and Laborers Local 328 sponsored the 61st annual Christmas party for the Children’s Developmental Center. The center provides developmental preschool classes, as well as, physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs for students. Thanks to the sponsors' help, around 70 students enjoyed Christmas music, balloon animals, and face painting, but more importantly, the students were able to have a Christmas celebration with each other.
It’s been bringing smiles to the faces of kids for six decades and it continued that tradition Thursday night.
