Children's Developmental Center throws their 60th Christmas party

It’s been bringing smiles to the faces of kids for six decades and it continued that tradition Thursday night.

The Children’s Developmental Center threw their 60th annual Christmas Party at Husky’s Recreation Hall. The Children’s Developmental Center provides developmental preschool classes, physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs for students that are in need of their services. The students have been looking forward to the many activates that they do at the party for a little while now, and the staff at the Children’s Developmental Center look forward to it too, but for a different reason.

"It’s wonderful because it not only includes our current students, but we invite all students that have ever attended. So it’s a great way to keep in touch with and the kids really look forward to it. We get calls asking ‘When is it coming?’ so it’s defiantly something they look forward too,” said Elisha Reinke, Ex. Dir. Children’s Developmental Center.

Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by tonight to hand out presents to the Children’s Developmental Center students that attended. The Christmas party was sponsored by the Husky Lima Refinery Action Club and RMF Nooter.
