The City of Lima has completed the roundabout and installed a new parking pattern in front of the courthouse that has now allowed Allen County Commissioners to approve maintenance projects outside the courthouse with the installation of a new retaining wall and new landscaping at the justice center. The Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center getting a new roof over the theatre atrium which was seeing a lot of water damage. Capital projects are always on the minds of commissioners.
Allen County's Treasurer is reminding property owners that second-half property taxes are due Friday July 8th. There are several options to pay those taxes. You can go online at www.allencountyohtreasurer.com or stop by the Allen County Treasurer's Office in the courthouse or any Allen County branch of Superior Credit Union or Union Bank locations.
Masks will be required when entering the Allen County Courthouse and Justice Center. The order goes into effect this Monday, August 30th and will stay in effect until further order from the Allen County Court System.
