
The due date for Putnam County real estate taxes is Friday, Feb. 14.
OTTAWA, OHIO (WLIO) – Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke has provided an update on residents’ real estate tax bills, which are due this month.
Warnecke said the real estate tax bills were mailed Tuesday, Jan. 14, and as of Friday, Jan. 31, some of the mail has left the Columbus Postal Distribution Center. Some residents may have already received their bills, while others should be receiving them soon.
The due date for Putnam County real estate taxes is Friday, Feb. 14. Warnecke advises residents who have not received their bill by Wednesday, Feb. 5, to contact her office at (419) 523-6588. The office can email a copy, or residents may stop by the courthouse to pick up and pay their tax bills. Those enrolled in automatic withdrawal will have their payments processed on Friday, Feb. 7.

The Putnam County real estate taxes were mailed out on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. We have been made aware that there has been a delay in those bills being delivered.
As of Friday, January 31, 2025, some mail has left the Columbus postal distribution center and some of you have or will receive your bills.
Currently the due date is Friday, February 14, 2025. If you don’t receive a bill by Wednesday, February 5, 2025 please call us. Semi-annual ACH wil be withdrawn on Friday, February 7, 2025.
We can email a copy to you, or stop in at the Putnam County Courthouse on the 2nd floor, hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday – Friday.
