Senate President Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) honored State Wrestling Champions Edward Kessen from Delphos St. John High School, who won the Division III 138lb weight class, Adam Mattin from Delta High School, who won the Division III 126lb weight class, and Laney Oliver from Findlay High School, who won the Girls Division 190lb weight class.
FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) - The community of Findlay gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Gavin Creel.
The Findlay Police Department went to the high school around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and found that no one in the school was aware of what the caller had stated. The school was advised to initiate a lockdown and shelter in place as police went from room to room, sweeping the building. The roads around the high school were all blocked off during the sweep. Law enforcement found nothing and determined the call was a hoax.
An event held by high school students aimed to raise money for two shelters in Hancock County.

To make sure that students and staff at Findlay High School and Millstream Career Center are safe on the road, employees at the Cooper Tire plant did tire checks Thursday as part of their "Tread Wisely" program. This is the third year for the program and the employees, with the driver's permission, checked the air pressure, how deep the tread is, and for any bulges, cuts, or abrasions on the sidewall of the tires.
Findlay High School will be closed Monday, November 14th, due to a water main break in the building.
