A Lima family is continuing a St. Patrick’s Day tradition of serving meals to those in need at Our Daily Bread soup kitchen. Now in its fourth year, the effort reflects their commitment to giving back and sharing the holiday with the community.

HARROD, Ohio (WLIO) - The Lima community hit the greens Saturday for a good cause during the second annual Lima Masters Golf Outing.
This year, organizers are adding a new twist by partnering with Saint Luke’s Church for a donation drive. They are collecting non-perishable food and hygiene items to benefit local shelters, emphasizing the importance of giving back all year long.
“Well, we started about six, seven years ago,” said Quincy Peoples, Director of Fresh-N-Faded Team Outreach Lima. “We teamed up with fresher faded, you know, we reach out to the community of Lima, and they make these events special for either the nursing homes or the community or for the kids. That’s why it’s called Team Outreach Lima.”
LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Eagle Point Ministries kicked off summer in a fun and giving way with a party in the pavilion at the Lima Amphitheater downtown.
Students walked and ran during the school’s annual Ronald’s Walk. Each year, students raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the walk serves as the culminating event.
