 Care Access is inviting the community to learn more about their health and how it can play a role in shaping the future of health care. The organization will discuss its "Future of Medicine" program and how individuals can participate in clinical research studies they may be eligible for and interested in.

The vast majority of people over the age of 50 now look for health information on the internet, and a poll from the University of Michigan finds that nearly three-quarters of the people polled would not trust or have very little trust in information that was generated by artificial intelligence. This was concerning to the doctor who directed the poll, as 20% of adults said they have little or no confidence they could spot health misinformation. And that number goes even higher among adults with poor physical or mental health.

Health is more than diet and exercise, and Activate Allen County is working to make sure other avenues of good health are being met. The group is accepting applications for its annual Faith Community Challenge. It is to encourage area churches and faith-based organizations to increase their support of the health and well-being of their parishioners. The challenge provides financial assistance and technical support for those efforts.
