The Lima Noon Optimist Home Show brought many different house ideas to its attendees.
The Lima Noon Optimist Club will host its 76th annual Home Show at the Allen County Fairgrounds, featuring home improvement vendors, local crafters and free entertainment while raising money to support youth programs in the community.
Habitat for Humanity of Findlay/Hancock County will be repairing or replacing 25 roofs as a part of its 25th anniversary celebration during the coming months.

A community effort is aiming to help Lima families in need this weekend. Ignite Lima 2021 is an event put on by Community Relief, a ministry of Union Chapel Missionary Church.
If eventually approved, this grant program would allow residents of Allen County to apply for money for home improvements, including roof and siding work. The idea as of now is to use funding from the American Rescue Act that the county and city of Lima to run the program.
With many stuck inside their four walls during quarantine, people have turned to home improvement projects while they wait out the pandemic. The ACE in Delphos has seen a lot more traffic since the pandemic started with more people ready to start their next home improvement projects, or in some cases, finish the projects they’ve been putting off.
