The name change reflects a joint venture partnership between Bon Secours Mercy Health, the fifth-largest Catholic health system in the U.S., and Compassus, a leading national provider of integrated home-based health care services, finalized earlier this year. Locations in Lima formerly managed by Mercy Health will be rebranded under the joint venture and managed by Compassus.

June 5, 2024, Press Release from the Grand Lake Health System: Grand Lake Hospice is pleased to announce the success of the Minster Baseball Hospice Night, a charity baseball game held on Friday, May 10th.  The baseball game, against the Ft. Loramie Redskins, raised funds to support the services provided by Grand Lake Hospice to the surrounding communities. Through the generous contributions of attendees, sponsors, and volunteers, the hospice fundraiser was again successful in their efforts. These funds will be used to enhance the comfort and quality of life for terminally ill patients, provide specialized medical care, and offer emotional support to patients and their families during the most challenging times.

The Trails Camp is a chance for youngsters to creatively express grief while sharing their story with other children who understand what they are going through. Since 1997, St. Rita’s Hospice has sponsored the camp to help this vulnerable population through a devastating time of life.
