Despite recent arctic temperatures, Our Daily Bread has seen a drop in attendance.
Director Randy Kimpell said the center remains active throughout the day. “We’re open for everybody and anybody, but we’re open from 8:30 to five. You know, even in between the meals, we’re still open. We have a lot of people that come here first thing in the morning and are here till we close it at night.”
Children from 1 to 18 years of age are able to get a hot meal Monday through Thursday through July 31st. School officials want people to understand this is for any child, not just Lima City School students.
