Fair week is always busy, but for teens on the Junior Fair Board, it means early mornings, late nights and a lot of hard work. Still, they say it’s worth the effort.

There's hundreds of projects being showcased in the Junior Fair Building with the same goal in mind: to make the best better. Ellie Janszen takes us to one of the coolest spots at the fair. Presentation is underway for the next generation of community leaders here in Auglaize County. The junior fair is taking place today. Junior fair exhibitors are showing off their months of hard work in their building. 4H members across the county had the chance to learn and grow through various projects like woodworking, sewing, safety, photography, and so much more. Presenters took advantage of trying new skills or expanding knowledge of their hobbies.

Members of the Putnam County Fair Board can be found throughout the fairgrounds working on multiple projects. From showing animals to managing the competitions themselves, each year junior fair board member are very busy to ensure that the fair runs smoothly.
You may have seen a group of teens in navy blue shirts that have been taking control of the shows at the Putnam County Fair. Our Jessica Gavin was there to give us a little more insight into what it takes to be part of this special group. 34 teenagers from all over Putnam County have been handed a lot of responsibility during fair week, but they wouldn't have it any other way.
