The jury trial for a Lima man charged with murder has been pushed back. During a motion hearing in Putnam Common Pleas Court Wednesday morning, the February trial for 26-year-old Konner Dunklee was rescheduled to begin on March 24, 2025.

A Lima man charged with a fatal shooting at a Putnam County trucking company has been found competent to stand trial. 26-year-old Konner Dunklee pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity on the charges of aggravated murder, murder, attempting to commit murder, felonious assault, and assault. After the mental evaluation, he can stand trial on those charges. But his lawyers are looking for a second evaluation.

A Lima man was arraigned this morning for allegedly killing a woman and injuring a man during a shooting at a Leipsic business Thursday afternoon. 26-year-old Konner Dunklee was charged with aggravated murder, murder, and attempted murder in Putnam County Municipal Court Friday morning. Dunklee's bond was set at 1 million dollars. His case will be presented to a Putnam County grand jury for possible additional charges.
