Lima has been selected to host one of Ohio’s signature America 250 homecoming and picnic celebrations on June 27 at the Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater. The free event will feature live entertainment, family activities, food trucks and a community gathering to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The Symphony Orchestra just performed their 2026 candlelight concert. The concert, taken place at St. Michael's Catholic Church, was titled, "English Elegance". The program blended classical music with modern favorites.

The Lima Symphony Orchestra hosted “Mornings with the Maestro” at the Lima Public Library, teaching children and adults about string instruments and inspiring interest in music education.
