Lima Police detectives say a possible argument in a bar led to a shooting later in a driveway on Weadock Ave.
Celina Police officers say a domestic dispute between 25-year-old Christopher Mangus and 49-year-old Samuel Paul, allegedly led to Paul shooting Mangus in the back.
Findlay Police say an officer-involved shooting occurred in the city during a foot pursuit by officers. Just before 6:30 Monday evening, Findlay Police were dispatched to Bernard Park on a report of 3 juveniles drinking alcoholic beverages. After officers arrived, a male juvenile suspect began to flee by foot, and an officer pursued him. During the chase, the juvenile fired a gunshot at the officer, and the officer returned fire hitting the male suspect.
A man charged with a shooting that seriously injured another man was arraigned on the charge Friday afternoon. 20-year-old Jeremiah Washington appeared in Lima Municipal Court on a felonious assault with deadly weapon charge from earlier this week. On Wednesday morning, Allen County sheriffs were called out to the 2,000 block of North West Street near Bill's Drive-Thru for a shooting victim. Washington took off towards the Brower Road Apartments and was arrested a short time later. The victim with critical but non-life-threatening injuries was taken to Mercy Health Saint Rita's.
A man remains in critical condition after being shot earlier today just north of the city. Allen County deputies called out to the 2000 block of North West Street at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Scanner traffic said the victim was shot in the arm and leg near Bill's Drive-thru. The area was roped off as detectives started their investigation. The suspect took off towards the Brower Road Apartments and authorities say he was arrested a short time later.
