Lima residents shared feedback on neighborhood improvements and concerns during the city’s monthly Walking the Wards meeting at Robb Park.

Mayor Smith of Lima started the annual "Walking the Wards" to hear feedback from Ward 2.

The City of Lima has launched a “Ready Build” program offering free, pre-approved home plans to encourage residential construction. The initiative also includes incentives like fee waivers and access to build-ready lots to attract developers and new homeowners.

Mayor Sharetta Smith is inviting Lima residents to submit questions for the interactive State of the City address on April 2. The event will be held at Joe Henderson Auditorium and streamed live online.

“Community Oriented Policing for the Lima Police Department is more than just a substation at a particular location. It is a philosophy and a way that we do police work, and having these substations in the neighborhood is a visual of that we work in partnership with our residents, business owners, and all of our stakeholders in our community to keep us all safe.”
