“There’s no registration required,” said Jason Aldrich, communications and public relations manager for the West Ohio Food Bank. “Simply come out, line up in your car, get out for a little bit to explore the resource fair and all the booths we’ll have there to offer, and then just follow the line through the fairgrounds.”

Residents of Lima came out to Faurot Park Tuesday afternoon to celebrate National Night Out with Lima's first responders! Residents had the chance to get to know the men and women who serve the Lima Police, Fire, and EMS Departments along with the park rangers and even the dive team. LPD officers were grilling hot dogs on the Faurot Park stage along with live music, bouncy houses for the kids, and even some fishing and live-action diving demonstrations from the dive team. Through all the fun, a big mission is to connect with our first responders without being in an emergency situation.
