LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The West Ohio Food Bank is preparing for its largest food distribution of the year with its annual Spring Resource Fair and Food Distribution set for June 5 at the Allen County Fairgrounds.

The event will feature over 30 booths offering information on nonprofit and medical services available in the community. Attendees can explore the resource fair, enjoy a free lunch, and then return to their vehicles to proceed through the food distribution line.

The event will feature over 30 booths offering information on nonprofit and medical services available in the community. 

“There’s no registration required,” said Jason Aldrich, communications and public relations manager for the West Ohio Food Bank. “Simply come out, line up in your car, get out for a little bit to explore the resource fair and all the booths we’ll have there to offer, and then just follow the line through the fairgrounds.”

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food distribution line will begin at 11 a.m. Attendees are asked to enter the fairgrounds from the main entrance off State Route 309 and will exit onto State Route 117.
