A Hardin County man has been charged with the death of his father, who has been missing since spring. 42-year-old Dustin Bolen was indicted on the charges of murder, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse for the presumed death of his father, Michael Bolen. He was also indicted on weapons charges, trafficking fentanyl, theft from a person in a protected class, and possessing criminal tools.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is continuing the search for a McGuffey man who has been missing since late March. A sheriff's office update yesterday says despite entering the 3rd month of 66-year-old Michael Bolen's disappearance, the investigative division is continuing to seek Bolen's whereabouts. Officials say the office is following every potential lead, conducting interviews and multiple searches. Hardin County has involved the services and resources of Ohio BCI&I, the Logan County Sheriff's Office, the Hardin County Prosecutor's Office, and the FBI.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office released an update on the search for 66-year-old Mike Bolen. Bolen was reported missing on Easter and was last seen on Good Friday. Detectives searched Bolen's home on Saturday and collected items for forensic testing. They have done numerous interviews and searched various locations. Friends and family conducted their search in areas around Alger and McGuffey last weekend.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating a missing man. 66-year-old Michael Bolen of McGuffey was last seen on Friday, March 29, 2024, at his home. He's approximately 5' 11" tall and weighs about 175 pounds.
Court documents state that a person of interest in the case, Charles Eugene Castle, has been taken into custody and charged with kidnapping after he was questioned by the Kenton Police Department. Castle is scheduled for a hearing on Monday.
Several local law enforcement agencies are searching for missing 7 year old Trinity Hurt. She was last seen on November 10, 2021 at approximately 730pm at her South Leighton Street home in Kenton, Ohio. She was last seen wearing pink or purple pajamas. Trinity weighs approximately 60 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and is approximately 4.5 feet tall.
Over 900 people reported to Fort Jennings Park Thursday morning to help in the search for Isaac. Many coming from out of county. They've now covered 12 country miles and 3 miles of the Auglaize River. Nothing has pointed search teams to the river, except since the house Isaac wandered away from was located right next to the Auglaize River. They also can't rule out the possibility of abduction. FBI and Ohio Bureau of Investigation and Identification are now assisting by providing resources to go along with everything else in place.erything else in place.
