HARDIN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Hardin County man has been charged with the death of his father, who has been missing since spring.
42-year-old Dustin Bolen was indicted on the charges of murder, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse for the presumed death of his father.
42-year-old Dustin Bolen was indicted on the charges of murder, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse for the presumed death of his father, Michael Bolen. He was also indicted on weapons charges, trafficking fentanyl, theft from a person in a protected class, and possessing criminal tools.
Michael Bolen was last seen on March 29, 2024, at his home in McGuffey. His body has not been found.

There have been numerous search parties that have gone out looking for him since his disappearance. Dustin Bolen has been at the Multi County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment. The Hardin County Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing.

November 7, 2024, Press Release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office: On 11/07/2024, the Hardin County Sheriff's Office has arrested Dustin Ray Bolen on indictment in connection to the investigation of a missing McGuffey man, Michael Bolen. Dustin Ray Bolen has been charged with the following: murder, tampering with evidence, gross abuse of a corpse, having weapons under disability, trafficking in fentanyl, theft from a person in a protected class, and possessing criminal tools. Dustin Ray Bolen is currently being housed at the Multi County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment on the listed charges.
